Taking into account the urgent travel needs of passengers, the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority approved, air Bangladesh, Bangladesh Express, China Eastern Airline and China Southern resumed flights between China and Bangladesh on April 21, local time. The Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority has announced that passengers travelling to and from China and Bangladesh will be required to carry a negative report form for a new coronavirus test within 72 hours before departure. Travellers to Bangladesh are subject to a 14 day concentrated quarantine at a designated Government of Bangladesh hotel at their own expense. Airlines are not allowed to check in until they have confirmed that passengers have made reservations to quarantine the hotel. Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority imposes capacity limits on passenger flights to and from Dhaka. The narrow body can carry up to 100 passengers on flights from China to Dhaka and the wide body can carry up to 150 passengers. There is no limit to the number of passengers that can be carried on a narrow body from Dhaka, with wide bodies carrying up to 280 passengers and Boeing 777 and Boeing 747 carrying up to 320 passengers.
