A few days ago, the 11th Boeing B737-300 full cargo flight loaded with semiconductor devices, agricultural and sideline products and e-commerce express took off from Xi'an to Shanghai. This route is the first all cargo route opened by Northwest International Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd. Since its opening two weeks ago, this route has shown strong demand: five flights a week, with an average carrying rate of more than 80%. In 2020, the air cargo throughput of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport will reach 376300 tons, which will enter the top ten of the country for the first time, with a year-on-year growth rate of 75.3%.

In the past year, Shaanxi Province has cultivated new aircraft in the crisis and opened up a new Bureau in the changing situation. By opening routes, stabilizing the supply of goods, and strengthening services, Shaanxi Province has continuously expanded the level of opening up, built an air cargo hub, and injected new momentum into high-quality economic development.

Under the impact of the epidemic, the abdominal cargo capacity of the airliner has decreased significantly, which has a great impact on the supply chain of the industry. During the epidemic period, the airport new town of Xixian New District cooperated with the Western Airport Group to coordinate the opening of more than 160 "passenger to cargo" and temporary charter flights from Xi'an to Leipzig and Frankfurt, and transported more than 70000 epidemic prevention materials to more than 10 countries, with a value of 80.13 million US dollars.

At the same time, Shaanxi Province opened six new freight routes from Xi'an to Xuzhou and Shijiazhuang last year. Up to now, Shaanxi Province has opened 35 full cargo routes, reaching more than 30 cities at home and abroad. The "air Silk Road" cargo route network is becoming more and more dense, helping Shaanxi to accelerate its integration into the "double cycle" new development pattern. Among them, xi'an-xian-los Angeles, the first intercontinental route with the fifth right of navigation in our province, opened on June 7, 2020 in collaboration with Western Airport Group and Korean Airlines, has 28 round trips and transported 5000 tons of goods, worth 400 million US dollars.

The improvement of cargo volume puts forward higher requirements for air transport services. Xi'an customs promotes the application of "single window" in international trade, implements "7 × 24" booking customs clearance, and greatly improves the efficiency of customs clearance. Western Airport air logistics company promotes the application of electronic waybill, effectively reduces the cost of air logistics, realizes 24-hour collection and transportation of domestic goods, and provides 24-hour air cargo one-stop full chain service guarantee for more than 100 domestic and foreign airlines and more than 120 logistics enterprises.

In order to improve the air cargo transport capacity of Shaanxi Province, in 2020, with the joint efforts of all relevant departments in Shaanxi Province, northwest International Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd. completed the business license and operation certificate processing in only 10 months, opened the full cargo route from Xi'an to Shanghai, filled the gap of Shaanxi local cargo airlines, and made up for the air cargo short board.
