On October 17, 2019, Air China chongqing branch held a meeting to prepare for the seasonal change of winter and spring flights. From October 27, 2019 to March 28, 2020, the branch will carry out the winter and spring airlines seasonal flight plan, which will not only increase the capacity, adjust and optimize the flight time, but also add 2 new routes and encrypt multiple routes, so that passengers in chongqing region can travel more conveniently and quickly.

Air China chongqing will have 38 routes in 2019. Compared with the winter and spring of 2018, two new navigation points were added: daxing in Beijing and hotan in xinjiang. Two grounded cities: liupanshui and luoyang; Compared with the summer and autumn of 2019, two new routes were added: chongqing to Tokyo and chongqing to daxing. By optimizing the flight time and adjusting the route structure, the average utilization rate and average flight distance of the branch executive aircraft have been improved.

The branch company actively develops international airlines, overcomes a series of difficulties such as Japanese airlines' navigation rights, timing and ground guarantee, and successfully opens a direct flight route of "chongqing-tokyo (Japan)", contributing to chongqing's efforts to build a new inland opening up.
